Background

Mr. Wesighan graduated from Florida State University in 1980 and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida in 1982. He was an Assistant State Attorney in Orange County, Florida for three years. He has practiced primarily in the area of Workers’ Compensation defense since 1985 when he joined the firm of Dean, Ringers, Morgan & Lawton. Mr. Wesighan has been Board Certified in workers’ compensation law by the Florida Bar since 1991, and Martindale-Hubbell has given him an AV rating, which is its highest rating. He is a recipient of the Orange County Bar Legal Aid Society Award of Excellence for his pro bono work representing abused and abandoned children. He is a member of the Florida Bar Workers Compensation Section, Orange County Bar Association and The Florida Defense Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States Supreme Court.
