Ms. Carr, a Florida Native, graduated with honors from Bethune-Cookman College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication in 1984 and earned a Masters Degree
in Public Administration from the University of South Florida in 1993.
In 2001, she received her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of
Law, where she served on the school’s award-wining Moot Court Board and elected
Chief Justice of the Stetson Honor Court.
Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Carr served as an Assistant State Attorney
in both the 5th and 13th Judicial Circuits of Florida. Ms. Carr tried jury cases in both county
and circuit courts.
Ms. Carr is admitted to practice in all Florida Trial and Appellate Courts. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association,
American Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
Ms. Carr concentrates her practice in general civil litigation,
insurance defense and governmental liability defense. She continues to serve her community through various church, civic and volunteer
organizations.
