Mr. Pendley graduated from the University of Florida in 1978 and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1981 from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He is admitted to practice law in both State and Federal Courts, is Board Certified in civil trial law, and is rated AV in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. The majority of his practice is in the area of tort and civil rights litigation in both state and Federal court. Mr. Pendley has lectured at various seminars on the issues of civil rights, police misconduct and public employment. He is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of numerous legal societies including The Florida Bar (including the Board of Legal Specialization and Education), the State Bar of Georgia, the Orange County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
